The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.
SASSA are going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention activities a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for SRD your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of all shoppers and raise entry SRD to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
